Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 2 for Holy Family Hospital located in Methuen, MA . In this role, you will operate as the Sous Chef and partner with the Executive Chef, supervising a team of 6 culinary professionals and up to 30 food service hospital workers. The Manager will work mostly daytime hours, but every other weekend and holidays will be required.

What You'll Do

• Work with the Executive Chef and Operations Manager on action stations, catering, retail, and patient services.
• Partner with the Patient Services Manager on improvements for the clinical side.
• Train frontline staff and the production team.
• Oversee the Production team to ensure quality, portion control, and temperatures of food for retail and patient services.
• Monitor HACCP logs and cleaning schedules.
• Conduct food and safety audits.
• Ensure all Sodexo standards are met.

What You Bring

• A strong cooking background.
• ServSafe Certified/Allergen Certification Preferred.
• Catering experience preferred.
• Prior experience with inventory and ordering.
• Ability to facilitate open communication with the team and create a supportive work environment.
• Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent. Minimum Management Experience - 1 year.
