Job Description

Serve as Guest Experience Host at Allegacy Field / LJVM Coliseum with a focus on selling premium seating and VIP experience options on the night of an event. Provide excellent service and hospitality to our guests. Maintain constant communication with staff and guests to ensure that they receive highly personalized service. Responsibilities include upselling available premium inventory to event attendees, managing inventory and contributing to a nightly sales goal, providing general venue information to all concert attendees regarding the event, recognizing VIP clients and Wake Forest University donors, coordinating operations on night of shows and games with management, catering staff, servers and security, building relationships with customers to anticipate their needs, providing oversight throughout the event of VIP areas to ensure guests receive highly personalized service, communicating effectively with the audience, and maintaining professional grooming standards. Qualifications include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being well spoken and personable, ability to problem solve, multi-task and be well-organized, charismatic and a people person, confident and excited to engage with patrons, and ability to take charge and think creatively. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, experience in selling or customer service, and a flexible schedule. Physical demands include working in a fast-paced, often loud and stressful environment with low light and occasional strobe and laser use, extended periods of standing, ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs, and frequent stair climbing.
