Job Description This role involves supporting laboratory IT environments, integrating instrumentation, and providing technical assistance to ensure optimal operation of laboratory systems. Daily Responsibilities: 1 Analyst MF 7am-4pm & 1 Analyst MF 3pm-12am Job Responsibilities: Implement, monitor, and support customer laboratory IT environments, typically integrated with instrumentation. Design and implement customer-specified benchtop computing processes. Administer and ensure connectivity of Windows-based platforms. Support operating systems, desktop hardware, peripherals, instrument-controlled software, and core applications. Manage onboarding, retirement, and relocation of equipment. Implement Windows security policies, including permissions and group policies. Analyze and implement system enhancements, upgrades, and solutions. Ensure compliance with corporate policies through reporting and compliance programs. Serve as the technical support contact for instrument vendors. Troubleshoot and repair instrument-related computers, escalating issues as needed. Support new system validations and change management. Maintain an inventory of lab equipment, PCs, and software. Submit weekly reports to the team lead. Act as a liaison for software/hardware inquiries. Participate in team meetings and support other practices as required. Adhere to health, safety, security, and environmental policies. Interaction Level with Management/Team Members: Daily Skills Overview: Qualifications/Experience: High School Diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree in a relevant field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft OS, networking, remote computing, and backup systems. Experience with scientific instrumentation and in a Life Science environment.
