Apply Job Type Full-time Description The Records and Information Management Manager leads and manages the Records and Information Management Team comprised of a Customer Service and Records Policy office. Advises the Director of Information Management and client on all aspects of the records and information management. Acts as the primary interface with LMS and LM staff concerning appropriate recordkeeping and information lifecycle requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads the Records and Information Management team to include the Legacy Management Records Center. Manages the essential records and file plan program. Supports continuity of operations concerning records and information. Identify gaps in staff knowledge and provide targeted training. Coordinate records and information management activities, electronic records management systems, library science, document control as outlined in ISO-9001. Collaborate with the ECM functional administrators to identify additional functionality to leverage across the LMS/LM enterprise. Collaborate with other managers in the LMS IM organization to further the mission of the Information Management Team. Integrates with the Information Governance team to ensure information strategy and governance is realized. Interprets and advises the Director of Information Management and Legacy Management on federal records laws, rules, guidance, orders and disposition schedules as it relates to federal and contractor records. Understands the enterprise application of information management principles and standards as it relates to recordkeeping, retention and disposition, essential records, access and use, collaboration, and findability and discovery within compliance all applicable laws and regulations Protect and identify sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure according to federal regulations and guidance. Other duties as assigned. Requirements EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience with a preference for coursework and experience in records, privacy, project management, information management, and/or library science. Five years or more in a progressive leadership role, guiding and mentoring RIM profession and organization employees. Valid Driver's License Certified Records Management within two years of employment, recommended: Information Governance Professional, Certified Information Professional, or any other industry accredited certification for records and information management professional.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills with senior leaders, client organizations, records and information management professionals, business services, information technology, data management, and organization staff. Can successfully archive, create, collect, index, digitize, transport, and store records. Guide and mentor RIM employees. Mandatory knowledge, skills, abilities, training, qualifications, and competencies of a records and information management program to meet program standards and requirements. Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly evolving and fluid environment; must be able to manage multiple projects, sometimes on tight deadlines, while liaising with multiple project managers. Advanced understanding of the Microsoft 365 environment such as Purview, Power Platform, Collaboration, and productivity suites. Resolve records and information situations daily, utilizing problem-solving skills, and provide follow-up to client, customers, and management. Assist with identification of challenges and efficiencies related to job duties and suggest process improvements related to position or team. Physical Requirements: Light work-significant degree of walking or standing, lifting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
