About the Job

The EI Group is seeking a dynamic and effective facilitator to support our clients’ diverse safety training requirements. We have an immediate opening for an individual with an instructional (teaching/training), presentation, or manufacturing safety background able to work independently and in multi-disciplinary environments under the direction of senior safety professionals. The ideal candidate will be capable of traveling frequently throughout the country to deliver site-specific compliance training based on OSHA standards on topics such as fall protection, confined spaces and forklift operation. The successful candidate will also work with senior staff to expand their understanding of corrective safety actions in conformance with the hierarchy of safety controls.

Required Skills

· Experience and ease in presenting information to audiences from diverse backgrounds

· Ability to read and interpret OSHA standards and client-specific internal policies

· Ability to understand technical information, including machine operations, chemical hazards, and manufacturing concepts

· Ability to think critically and analyze complex problems and procedures

· Effective oral communications skills

· Demonstrated writing, editing, and PowerPoint skills

· Ability to work independently and manage ever-changing schedules

· Willingness to listen to and learn from experienced EHS professionals

· Flexibility and desire to travel frequently throughout week

Preferred Qualifications

Beneficial experience would include awareness of the following topics:

· Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

· Fall Protection

· CPR/First Aid

· Fire Safety

· Electrical Safety

· Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts)

· Ergonomics

Additional Details

· Travel Required: a mix of local and regional project work, short duration overnights (1-4 days away from home, and possibly full weeks on location)
