Healthcare Administrative Partners, HAP, is looking for a detail oriented and computer savvy Medical Billing Coordinator with a customer first mentality to work full-time in our remote Operations team.

Healthcare Administrative Partners is a leading provider of medical billing, coding and consulting for healthcare providers. Our headquarters is located near Philadelphia in Media, PA. Our outsourcing operations are conducted in our Media location as well as in our Portsmouth, NH office. As a Medical Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the accurate completion of all billing functions, including billing insurance and processing payments to clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry and multi-tasking skills, as well as outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities to navigate through multiple billing systems while utilizing process guides.

Duties include:

  • Resolving failed claims and denials.
  • Interpreting Explanation of Benefits, EOBs, for various types of insurance.
  • Updating patient demographics, insurance, and billing information in database/billing system.
  • Identifying, researching and processing refunds and overpayments.
  • Investigating and resolving unbilled and no response claims to ensure timely claim submission.
  • Resolving telephone calls and written correspondence from patients and insurance companies.
